Julius Fall / Winter 2013 Lookbook
Full Lookbook on Stealth Projekt
The Overdyed Zero jeans is a purely conceptual project and is the second iteration of our experiments with the concept of Zero Waste. The idea behind the pants was to create a garment using the excess fabrics that remains from the cutting of other garments in our workrooms. The Key emphasis of the project was to reduce the amount of fabric that is wasted by the studio and minimizing the amount of materials that are disposed of in the garment creation processes. The best remains of our Canvases, Cottons and Linen blends were selected and made into a patchwork motif for the front of the garment with a very labor intensive stitching process that makes each garment unique and essentially one of a kind.
