With the attached pockets the piece feels almost like an exoskeleton worn over your regular garb. As always the signature BBS details are present including the silver pressed hanging pulls and a recent trend in Boris’ designs the cross over the upper back
Ann Demeulemeester Leather Lace Up Sandal
I hate sandals but these are gorgeous. Almost a mix between a boot and a sandal with a lot of detail. The complexity is what draws me in here but the simple silhouette is what keeps me entranced. These are probably one of the only pairs of sandals I would consider bringing in to the fold. Of course nothing less than perfection can be expected from Ann

Atelier New York FW 12-13 Preview
Always a great buy over at ATNYC and this season appears no different. Although this is just a small glimpse in to what will be happening I’m already seeing gorgeous silhouettes and a lot of pleasing offerings.

Carol Chrisitan Poell cotten / linen blend Dead End sarouel pants
As many of my readers know I have a certain affinity to drop crotch pants so this may come as no surprise but these are some of my favorite pants from Carol. The relaxed fit is on point without being too casual but the real beauty here is the signature Dead End detailing in the front.

This is really what I like to see from Carol; subtle alterations to classic garments. What could be a basic button up is extended past what would be the natural fit to encompass both the neck and hands which are usually left bare by such a garment. Besides the obvious aesthetic changes to the garment there are many more hidden details such as the stitching and seams. I’d be really interested to see how the garment feels on the body as that seems to be an integral part of appreciating CCP garments. Dead End has been nothing but top tier Carol from what I’ve seen.
