Certainly some elements comparable to Carol’s work here but that seems to be an all too common thread with a lot of brands these days.
It appears Boris is making his way in to women’s fashion.
This is the first teaser I have seen of it but I am sure excited to see ladies donning these aggressive garments.
So… I’m going to Japan for three months on Sunday.
I can’t contain myself… I’ll post pictures here of course.
I plan on visiting many stores as well as photographing whatever possible

Carol Christian Poell MNSTRM/DWNSTRM SS2004
I recently heard online that Carol’s long time assistant left recently, to move to berlin and begin work on other projects. Until she is replaced he wont be working on a new collection until she is replaced. It’s unlikely we’ll see anything before 2013 and even then it’s not looking sure. Thankfully there are still items turning up from his previous collection that I had no idea existed. It will be interesting to see how (if at all) his work changes when a new assistant is brought board.
