Boris Bidjan Saberi chain seam leather jacket.

Certainly some elements comparable to Carol’s work here but that seems to be an all too common thread with a lot of brands these days.

It appears Boris is making his way in to women’s fashion.

This is the first teaser I have seen of it but I am sure excited to see ladies donning these aggressive garments.

11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi ShowroomChoosing to focus on practicality and durability here Boris has made a small collection of 11 garments and 11 accessories. This seems a little more relaxed than the Boris I’m used to but I guess the same could be said for his recent collection. To me this looks like Boris is exploring more of his streetwear influences seeing as its always been a large part of his aesthetic.

Boris Bidjan Saberi Fall Winter 2013 Men’s There is some potential here but over all I feel it’s too safe. It seems a lot of designers are moving that way so I’m not sure what to expect in the future. I’d like to see a return to the roots of the brand in some sense but of course progress must be made. I’m anticipating seeing individual pieces in this collection because I imagine many are quite wearable.
